"Hookin Up" Takes A Toronto Staycation

DENVER, COLORADO - With her rod, reel and bikini packed, Mariko Izumi is once again traveling globe in pursuit of fishy adventures on Hookin' Up with Mariko Izumi, on WFN: World Fishing Network, North America's only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network. But for this week's episode, Mariko and her crew booked a "Staycation" in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario. The third episode of the season, premiere's on Monday, November 15, at 7:30 pm ET. In her hometown celebrating Canada Day, Mariko, her father/pro anglers/TV fishing personality Wayne Izumi and her best friend spend the day fishing for Salmon. Mariko discovers a lot she didn't know about her city.

The niece of Canadian fishing legend Bob Izumi, Mariko visits the world's best fishing hot spots, while learning about the local culture along the way. Hookin' Up with Mariko Izumi serves as the lead-in to WFN's "Big Bass Monday," one of the network's primetime theme nights -- two-hour blocks of themed programming dedicated to all aspects of the pastime, airing nightly, 8:00 pm-10:00 pm.
