fishing in peru

hey all, i live in utah and i have an awesome opportunity to fish in the coastal waters of peru during the month of march. my family has been planning this trip forever and i am incredibly happy that i get to see my loved ones, i also love fishing, but since i live in utah i dont know the first thing about saltwater fishing. im looking for some advice on what bait or lures to use and what equipment i should take, i will do all my fishing from shore and mostly close to the capitol of lima. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance![fishon]
