I am planning a trip down to virginia in a few weeks. Does anyone know if I can land a striper down there while I am visiting?

You should be able to.
NC is as far south as you should go for them...... [signature]

Come on down to the Outer Banks. We are catching nice fish.

NC is known for striper fishing, and in my opinion, is probably one of the best resources for this type of fishing in the world.
Just a note though, you can catch striped bass, hybrid bass, and white bass much further south than NC. The catch is, they are land locked. (on a body of water that does not connect to the ocean) There have been land locked Stripers caught in excess of 50 pounds. [cool] [signature] |
