Nominations Being Taken for the 2004 Streamlight Challenged Hunter of the Year Award
Do you know of a challenged hunter who is deserving of recognition? BADF Disabled Services and its presenting sponsor Streamlight will be accepting nominations for the Streamlight Challenged Hunter of the Year Award. This prestigious honor will be issued to a disabled outdoor person who has overcome great obstacles in order to participate in hunting, and then applied his or her knowledge and insight to help and inspire others. A prize hunt and merchandise will be issued through this award program. Friends and family members can submit candidates by writing a descriptive letter of 750 words or less, and sending it with two quality photographs of the nominee to the address indicated below (emailed nominations cannot be accepted). Copies of newspaper clippings and other articles on the applicant can be submitted as well. The deadline for nominations is October 31st, 2003. Please note that we cannot guarantee the return of photographs or other media.
Our grand prize is an invitation to the 2004 Buckmasters Life Hunt Classic. This event is held at Sedgefields Plantation in central Alabama. The Streamlight award recipient will receive an all expense paid hunt and transportation to the event. Hosts of the classic will include Buckmasters' own Jackie Bushman, Streamlight's president Brad Penney, and other celebrities. While at the Classis the award winner will be outfitted with clothing and gear from other Buckmasters sponsors.
