Bass though The ice?

Just wondering how many guys here target bass though the ice?

I've targeted them and still do but with very little success at it..

today is my last day to target bass, so hopefuly I will have one more bass pic to share with every one before the season ends and the rest of the bass for the rest of my ice season will be accidentals..

here is a tip, bass like orange under the ice. so I make a leader and attach a small orange spinner blade.

also if you like jigging with tear drops, try silver ones "the long type that are close to bannana shape. I will try to remember to post a pic of the lures I use to target bass with, if I forget dont be shy in reminding me.

I have one that delivers bass regularly through the ice.

My Bass season is now closed, but here is a photo of a bass with my number one go to under the ice bass lure.

It works on both small mouth and large mouth, Have yet to hook up with a walleye with it.

I made this one my self, it is a steel leader, with a few beads and an orange spinner blade. The leader it self is about 7 inches long.

you dont have to use a steel leader if you dont have the equipment to make them, using 20 or 30 pound test line will do a fine job.
