Good ones FG! Funny, and a little close to home too.

While I do have myself a couple of new "9-foot, 4 peice, space aged" Helios that let me cast farther, faster, lighter . . . I'm currently bidding on a 20-year old rod on Ebay too! It will fish circles around the Helios, in my hands anyway, and will get an old reel with the sweet sound of the Hardy clicker!

Oooooooh...nothing as sweet sounding as that Hardy click!.

Of course, most of mine are the upper end, but they are worth every penny both physically and mentally, if you know what I mean.

But I fish for trout, and reels are something I don't need to spend allot on, besides there is about a grand laying in the bottom of a couple lakes, not making that same mistake.

ahhhhh that bouncing reel.. was it English?? juz teasing ya sis...

loved the videos.. and they do hit close to home.. especially the part about spending money on "equipment" but dont fish much.. I think that is my 2011 resolution.. fishing more.. I gots to at least get the skunk off the LL rod .. :-)

as for reels.. well the two that I have are more than enough for what I have.. especially that RMT ... I just switch out spools depending on the rod I choose to use at the time... and that reminds me I gots to get that sharkskin loaded on a spool.. :-)
