Hey there forum members, so glad I found this forum this morning and looking forward to reading about you all here.
You can call me Jim.
While I lived in Ontario, Canada more than 30 years ago I did a bit of fishing but life just seemed to busy to get much fishing in. Then I paid a visit to New Brunswick Canada where my brother-in-law introduced me to fly fishing and that was it for me.
Between the great fishing and the scenery I was hooked and never went back to Ontario, except to visit.
I went straight from learning to fly fish to fly fishing for Atlantic salmon although that was an hours drive so I spent more of my early years fly fishing for brook trout.
A few years later I bought a canoe and gave fly fishing for smallmouth bass and chain pickerel, what a blast.
I still use my spinning gear but like to bring my fly fishing gear just in case the opportunity presents itself.
Well that's me, looking forward to making friends and learning new things.
