Fishing Soque river in GA

I live in North Carolina and have heard about the Soque River in GA enough until I have to go fish it. Tried to look it up on the net to figure out where i need to go, but everything that I have came across clubs or guide services have bought all the land around it and that leaves no access to the creek. Does anyone know where I can take a trip to and fish the Soque without a guide that is not over pressured and good fishing for some hog sized fish? thanks
