3.5lb Bass Jan. 17 My second bass 2011
#1
It rained a little last night and temps rose into the upper 40's today so I went to the Church Pond around 4pm.

Air temp 45 / water temp 39

Lure: Luck E Strike Football Jig 3/8oz
Watermelon w/purple flake skirt
Black Pork Rind dual tail

Presentation: Long cast into the deepest part of the pond and let sit for 15 seconds. One long pull about two feet and let sink then 3 fast twitches and let sit 10 seconds. Repeat.

This fish is the same size of the one I caught last year to win the Bass Fishing Rival Contest. When we get an official thread for this years contest I will submit this fish as my first entry.

17.5 in. Approximately 2.5 to 3.5lb.

You are killin' me!!! I have been working so much that I haven't been able to get out. I went for a drive Sunday to check out some new water and I am going out next Sunday for sure! Rain or shine, I'll be fishing.
