TURKEY HUNTING SEMINAR IN PUEBLO
#1
PUEBLO, Colo. - According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, turkey hunting is the fastest-growing form of hunting in the country. Since 1991, participation in turkey hunting has increased at a rate double that of population growth in the United States.

The Colorado Division of Wildlife will host a wild turkey hunting seminar at 6 p.m. on April 1 at Lake Pueblo State Parks Auditorium. The class is open to anyone interested in learning about hunting wild turkeys.

The seminar will cover the fundamentals of turkey behavior, turkey habitats, hunting tactics and techniques, as well as provide a good beginning for the novice turkey hunter. Registration is limited.

The seminar will also include a demonstration of turkey calls and calling techniques that participants will be able to practice and master before leaving the class.

The classes are educational and exciting, and fill quickly. Reservations required.
