DOW UNVEILS 2011 SOUTHEAST FISHING FORECAST
#1
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Division of Wildlife invites anglers to learn the latest information affecting fishing waters around southern Colorado at two upcoming angler roundtable meetings. These forums, planned for Pueblo and Colorado Springs, give anglers a chance to ask questions of fishery biologists from the DOW.

'This is a great opportunity for anglers to hear about local fishing conditions, ask questions and hear what the DOW predicts for this fishing season," said Doug Krieger, Senior Fisheries Biologist for the Southeast Region.

Attendees will be given a summary of the best bets for fishing on lakes and streams in 2011. Other topics include fish stocking plans, fishing regulations, zebra mussel boating restrictions, water levels, fish population data, fishing access, whirling disease, and high altitude lake management.

Anglers are encouraged to bring questions about fishing their favorite lakes and streams.
