Greys Fly Reels??

Has anyone used a Greys Fly Reel? I was looking at the discontinued GRXi fly reel with interchangeable spools. They are well priced, but that doesn't always mean quality. I was going to try and make it to the expo last weekend and see if Greys was there, but had to work. Anyway, any input into an affordable reel (preferable mid-large arbor) would be appreciated.

That is such a nice set up and as you say, the Price is a BIG plus. They are associates with Hardy, so I am betting the quality is good.
One thing, Orvis use to carry a reel with Cartridges. Great reel and good idea, but the spools could get stuck and on occasion break. Not sure that is the case here and the spools are not that expensive.

If I were in need of a reel, I would definitely consider this.

Thanks for your input flygoddess. It says the extra spools are made of a polymer. Is it a plastic polymer? Or is it a type of metal?

Looks like plastic. Maybe a fiberglass plastic thing
