crankbaits for catfish??

Are crankbaits affective on catfish?

You hear stories of people catching catfish with lures but stinkbait, cut bait and live bait is going to be your best bet.

White catfish usually like live bait.

all other species usually like stink baits and cut baits. Usually the more rank the stink the better.

You might get other replies from catfishermen that have perfected catching them on lure but from my experience in the south it's stink baits.

Affective no not really theres better things to catch cats on but YES they do work and hundreds of anglers catch catfish on crankbaits not to mention all the other type/style of lures.
