ANGLER ROUNDTABLE SET FOR SAN LUIS VALLEY
#1
ALAMOSA, Colo. - The Colorado Division of Wildlife wants to hear about issues and concerns of anglers in the San Luis Valley at an "Angler Roundtable," 7 p.m., May 11, at the Inn of the Rio Grande in Alamosa.

Josh Nehring, aquatic biologist for the Division in the San Luis Valley, plans to talk about a variety of issues, including: new fishing regulations; the outlook for fishing at lakes, reservoirs, rivers and streams in the area; updates on fish stocking activities; and Beaver Creek Reservoir where the water level was lowered last year because of concerns about the dam. Nehring will also talk about the possible effects of the low snow pack on fishing this year.

The Division invites all anglers to talk about any issue related to fishing.

The Inn of the Rio Grande is located at 333 Santa Fe Ave., (U.S. Highway 160) on the east side of Alamosa.
