Current fishing conditions
#1
The fishing in the Georgetown and Murrells Inlet areas is picking up inshore and offshore. There are LOTS of small flounder being caught in both areas inshore. Some bigger flatfish are being landing along the inshore reefs, like paradise and pawleys reef. The breeder drum are back on the rocks thick, and some small and slot fish are being caught in skinny water. I haven't heard much about speckled trout, but I know the weakfish are doing pretty good.

I heard reports from Aces Up and TeetoSea (murrells inlet charter captains) that the king mackerel are moving closer into shore. Some smaller fish were caught at Belkie Bear, which is about 12 miles out or so. I still haven't heard anything about Cobia being sighted or caught, but they should be in. Spanish are now being caught in the normal spots. Looks like it's shaping up to be a good season.
