Keep it up with the topwater. You have the right bait, and if you want to really get them hitting it be out there at daylight. As the summer comes on they will really get after it, and you will be hooked. And a nice calm morning, or very light chop is the time.

You wont believe what I tore them up with,I used a 4 1/2" razorworm in green with red sparkle that my buddy gave me "unsalted",I used my reg 1/0 worm hook and 1/32 bullet weight, eagle claw razor sharp from wallmart[Smile].I saw alot of guys and gals fishing, anglers are really excited about these trout.I'm new to catching these but I caught on very well, even got a lucky lure for them,a small jointed rapala for trolling.

With the worms it was spot fishing,I used 4 and 6lb line and beat my buddy with his gulp[Image: happy.gif],Just this weekend I got one trolling.really chopy, but turned around anyway for another trol, and caught one more, each 19",I'll post those soon, but I have new pics from couple months ago.Take care, and enjoy PP
