Trout in summEr in 6ft. Max pond?
#1
I live in Massachusetts and been recently trout fishing. I know in deeper ponds and lakes the fish swim deeper when the water hits upper 70's. The pond I'm fishing at is 4-6 feet max. Are the trout still catchable is warm summer. Do they hide, become comatose or die? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Does the pond have stocked trout? If so, I usually use a Powerbait rig. I wrote an article about it here. This rig lets you fish the bottom where most of the trout are going to be in the warmer months. Hope this helps some.
