Saltlicker rolled out just before light, heading towards B.B. First boat there, at like 0630 or something. WTF???? Anyhow, trolled for a couple hours, nothing. A few other boats showed up, but they weren't doing anything either. We moved on and ended up finding a couple nice teenagers for the box. Ken scoped out a solo dolphin, but he wasn't eating. (believe it or not) It was actually a small fish. We both thought it was kind of weird to see him flying solo. We switched up to bottom gear and started working the spot. So, it went something like this:

-Shark
-Shark
-Undersized Gag
-Shark
-Small BSB
-Shark
-Genuine Red Snapper
-Small BSB
-Shark
-Broken Rod tip on 120 dollar rod (angler brain fart)
-Shark
-Undersized Gag
-Double hook up on sharks

Yep, pretty interesting day. The biggest surprise to me, where were all the seabass? I really expected to see a few. Also, not a single porgy or vermillion came up. The seas were like glass offshore, snotty inside of 10 miles on the way back in. Surface water temps in 80' of water were in the upper 70's. Bait was everywhere.
