Recycled Fish and Fishhound team to advance the Stewardship Ethic
#1
NEBRASKA CITY, NE - Recycled Fish, the non-profit organization of 'anglers living a lifestyle of stewardship both on and off the water,' proudly announces a new partnership with Fishhound, the Web's most comprehensive collection of up-to-date fishing reports collected straight from guides, shops and outfitters.

Recycled Fish and Fishhound will team up to promote responsible stewardship of our waters. Recycled Fish will contribute content with a conservation theme to the Fishhound site which garners tens of thousands of unique hits each month. Recycled Fish will also help shape Fishhound's stewardship ethic.

"Our platform gives us an avenue to both inform and educate anglers in ways that other organizations can't," said Rick Patri, Vice President, operations for Fishhound. "Recycled Fish has a very powerful message about strengthening stewardship within the angling community, and we're in a position to help disseminate that information."

Teeg Stouffer, founder and executive director of Recycled Fish said he's excited about the possibilities the partnership with Fishhound presents.

"Anglers are a huge group - over 40 million in America. Fishhound has a big voice among people who fish - people who are connected to our waters in the way that most people are not. By ushering in a culture of being more than sportsmen, but being stewards of our waters - we can expect more and bigger fish now and a legacy of healthy waters for our grandkids."

Fishhound is a comprehensive collection of local, real-time fishing reports from professional, on-the-water anglers. It provides the most accurate and up-to-date information available anywhere. The partnership with Recycled Fish provides Fishhound with a partner that adds valuable educational and topical information about the biggest conservation issues facing anglers today. Fishhound staff members and pros will also contribute to the "The Fish Schtick" podcast. The Fish Schtick is a free weekly show that covers the stories and unique personalities found across the world of fishing. It's available on iTunes and at www.thefishschtick.com.

"We look forward to working with Recycled Fish as Fishhound's conservation messaging evolves," Patri said. "Their message includes S.A.F.E. Angling, which is "Sustaining Angling, Fish and Ecosystems," and that perfectly captures how we feel about the relationship anglers need to have with our natural resources."
