NDOW creel census clerks reported very light fishing pressure this past week at Willow Beach. Striped bass that were 21 inches or less were taken using anchovies.
A three-pound channel catfish was taken in the area. The fish was also taken with anchovies.
Willow Beach anglers reported fair success for stripers. Two anglers fishing with anchovies landed stripers that weighed in at 16 ½ and 17 pounds. No rainbow trout were creeled in this area.[/size] [center]
