Nice fish man. I was just curious, what is the fate of the marlin after it is weighed in? Is it discarded or is it processed and eaten? My experiance with most species of larger billfish is, they are not very good table fare.

This one seemed too weak to the captain of Exact to release so it was boated. They sold it to a guy on the mountain who smokes it. Marlin are not very good eating so most of them get smoked. Smoked marlin is tasty.
