question about carp

i see carp all the time in the swim next to my house but i never can catch them, they are very thick in this small waterway but ive only used night crawlers to try and catch them any suggestions?

That's a great question, though I don't have much experience with carp, I have caught them before using corn on a treble hook, and with a mosquito patter fly and a fly rod.
We have tons of carp around my area as well and would like to know more information on how to catch them as well.
