Im from alabama and am planning to make a trip up to NC this fall or winter for a few days to fly fishwith my dad on the Hawassee and possibly persimmon creek and some other rivers. I am just curious about when would be the best time to go. I was thinking October but I didnt know if there was a better time. If anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated
