Offshore Grand Isle

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum, and new to offshore fishing in Grand Isle.
I have a trip planned for 08/29/11 thru 08/31/11
My wife and son will be along, and we intend to target Mangroves, Reds, Cobia, and maybe a few specks.

I would appreciate it if you could give up some rigs, 30 mi. or less offshore from Grand Isle.

My 1st and only trip offshore fishing ended up being a hardhead trip. Cant offer any advice. But for quicker responses try the main fishing board and not the state.

Well I know Venice, Louisiana has the best fishing charters in the south and its not far from New Orleans.
