Fridays Wipers
#1
Here's a few pics from Fridays Willard bay trip. We got into two very short boils along the north dike. I was fortunate enough to pull one fish out of each boil. The second fish had a bit of heft to it and was easily over four pounds and about 20". Both fish were caught on the same popper. My buddy was running sub surface lures and ended up getting blanked. With the coming colder weather, I'm pretty sure these will be the last wipers for me this year [:/] Both fish were released. Fred K.

Nice going Fred, thanks for posting your report, you are doing better than most of us did at Willard last week. How clear was the water along the North dike?

Thanks ;0) The water along the north dike was a litte cloudy, and a few degrees colder than the water along the south dike. We did a couple of laps around the lake looking for active fish and just happened to be stopped when these fish came up. Sometimes luck is all you need! Fred.
