Catfishing with LAND slugs.

Okay, theres alot of slugs under my mothers carport and some people see this and think, EWW!! and pour salt all over them. But, i look at these little guys like i look at alot of other odd creatures.....BAIT!!!..so im really wondering if anyone has had this thought as well...
If anyone has and stories or tips i would love to hear them. plz post reply.

ive never used slugs, but i do know those white japanese grubs that are under loggs n landscaping stuff. They will catch fish.[]
