Utah Camping/Fishing Trip - Boulder Mtn - 11,000 feet

took a little trip upto boulder mtn in utah to do some fishing . . heres a report on the utah board . . .

now that its starting to cool down, if any of you boat owners would like to take the moderator (yours truly) out on lake mead some weekend, i always pay the gas bill and bring plenty of water and soft drinks for everybody. . .

thanks man, i hope its the first of many 4+ day trips to that area! still got 5 lakes at least to see up there . . .

What a great post. I think you should win an award for an effort like that. Makes me want to jump into the truck and head for the high ground! I have a 17' Old Towne Discovery Sport canoe that would look great on that still water. Poor canoe has not been on the water for a couple of years. Your post makes me want to change that.

Ya he loves it now but the first time I took him he was complaining the entire time. Now you can't keep the guy away from those mountains. So what's the count now 4 or 5 trips to the Barkers.

yah thats because you said it was 20 minutes . .turned into 2-1/2 hr round trip, but once i caught that big bow and brookie, i loved it since! no ive only been up there 3 times i think, its a long drive from vegas . .a little long for a weekend . . bout 12 hr round trip . .
