Trying out the JawJacker

worked great. I cant wait to load it up with a heavy rod and braided line and hit the lake trout with it. will report back on that!

Thanks for the post. And thanks for the video - I got one, and am anxious to try it. Looks like it's working good - finding fish - and hooking them up!

I too think it could be a good tool for big-fish! I'm gonna hookup a musky on one under ice! That's the plan!

Thanks, I saw the big discussion on the Idaho board. For me this is an improvement over just deadsticking my second rod. Makes my second rod productive. Simple as that.

Looking to buy one asap. I watched the videos and it looks cool. I hope its easy to set up. What's the best thing to hang out there?

So far all I have used are my small ratso's tipped with shrimp or a waxworm, standard fair for the smaller trout. as the season progresses I hope to be using some 3" tubes for the Lakers. We will see how that goes. I will also be doing a bunch of Crappie fishing with it.
