Winter Fishing Puerto Rico
#1
Beautiful seas in the Atlantic. Three days after the full moon water was mixed due to the heavy rains from past weekend. Blue water at 15 miles. Plenty of bait balls Macks, skipjacks and flying fish, but the bite was slow. some boats went out 35 miles just to score few mahi.
We released a cuda in the shallows and released another one at 13 miles out in the pr trench. the only mahis we saw were finger size and were left for later. day was spectacular long smooth swell, light winds and not even one cloud in sight. That's why they say even the worst day of fishing is better than a day at the office.
for the weekend cold front bigger seas short period and 20+ knot winds

tight lines
