Had some time so I went up to Pineview this afternoon to check it out. Port ramp out to the docks the ice is 4 1/2". Played around out there for 2 1/2 hrs. (1400- 1630) and the only thing I could find was bitty perch. A couple areas they lit up the flasher. I thought for sure I would find a couple of crappie, but not today. Got tired of cranking the auger so i did not cover as much area as I would have like to.
There is no ice in the Narrows at all. The North Arm is capped. Spring Cr.area has ice, did not appear to go west to the Island. South Fork arm is capped. The Middle fork arm was open just east of the Island out to Cemetery "Point" There is patchy open water from Cemetery Point West about 7-800 yds.
The only ice I got on was at the Port Ramp.
