They were a little late in showing up this season, however, the tarpon are now here and the action can only be described with one word HOT!! Live shrimp is the prime bait this time of the year. Tuesday evening we went 5 for 7 and went in at 8:00 pm due to the cold. Yes, it does get cold in Miami. The hot action kept us warm till then. This evening the air temperature did not cool down as quickly. After it got dark, the tarpon action started and continued until it was time to go in. They kind of evened the score on us this evening. Our final count was 4 for 8. The fish ranged in size from 25 - 60 pounds.
