Fajardo Fishing Extravagaza February week #1
#1
High pressure has prevailed over the last weeks. Creating high winds and wind built, making sea conditions rough and sporty.

Most of the fishing was made towards the sea mounts by Vieques. Producing nice size King macks and Cero Macks. also amber jacks and cudas. The PuertoRican trench still producing mahis , wahoos and we are encountering more frequently bird piles of tuna. (skip jacks , black fin and yellow fin). Tons of bait are nice invitation for bill fish in the area. Whale migration hasn't started yet but soon we will start encountering those majestic humpbacks.
The rain also has been a factor making our runs longer to the fishing ground due to the fact of green water full of sediment and brackish water. Run out to the blue.

till the next bite
