I just received an email from some co-workers telling of the story of Jacqueline Saburido. She was a beautiful 20 years young lady from Venezuela who was in studying in Texas back in 1999 when a car she was riding in was struck by a drunk driver. Two of her friends were killed. She was pinned in the front pasenger side seat when the car caught on fire.
She burned over 60% of her body, and 4 years later is still recieving treatment. Through the love and support of her father she is living in Louisville, KY where she recieves the treatment from specialists. She has decided to share her experience with the public to make people aware of the dangers of Drinking and Driving.
When (or if) you go to her site you will see pictures (not for the squeemish) of her before and after. It is truly a
story, but also inspiring. If anyone feels in their heart to give her a small donation to help with her treatments and living arrangements, there is information on the site to do that as well.
