Jordan River Jiggin
#1
Went to the Jordan today and had fun at my new favorite spot. I got 2 white bass, 1 channel cat that got off the hook at the bank, and what I'm guessing is a Utah sucker (not too familiar with suckers..). All fish were caught on a 1/8 oz eyeball jig rigged with 3" berkely gulp minnows. The cat gave a good fight on 8lb line. How do you guys process suckers for bait? And is sucker meat good bait for catfish?

I love fishing the jordan river. Never caught a sucker there though. Looks like a nice white bass too. Just about in the middle of summer I like to rig up about three sticks with some line and a hook with worms, or chicken livers, hotdogs, bacon jigs etc. and just fish those right off the shoreline. I pull in perch, white bass, blue gill, frogs, crawdads, white bass, and lil ole bullheads. Its a good and easy way to acquire cutbait through the year
