Spent 6 1/2 hours listening to testimony for the child safety law regarding restraints. What they did was put in wordage that would not allow foothold traps 1500 ft from any building or road so no child could get hurt. This would let any trapper to set his trap smack in the middle of water companies lakes, and no where else. Amazing to see them bring pictures and out right lie in their testimony.
I bring this up because it starts with traps, then hunting and finally fishing. I knew it was bad, but what an eye opener.
