wrote earlier about my pike fly-fishing trip coming up on June 26 to Lac La Martre Lodge, NWT, Canada. The operator tells me there's still a few openings that week (6/26 - 7/2), if anyone wants to join me. While I fly-fish, hardware casters are welcome. However, I'll teach anyone who comes along and is interested to learn how to catch these big brutes on flies...and get more and bigger ones than on lures! Huge Lake trout are a very viable bonus, in relatuive shallow water at that time, and they avidly take my Flashabou streamers, using a fast-sink line. There are Arctic Grayling, too.
