lake mead 3/23/12

[cool]Was able to get out to the lake after work for a few hours. Started tubing in the wind south of 33 hole. Tried a couple of coves and was able to catch a nice 2lb lmb on a small swimbait. Continued to battle the wind for another hour for about five more hits but no hookups.Went in as the wind got worse. Nice to get a green bass.

Right on. What time did you get on the water. It started kicking up around noon I was being pushed around pretty good when I tried to set up my drifts. In your experience is the night bite better then the day? Maybe next time I see you out there.

Way to scratch one out! At least you got one to commit, I'm 0 for about 20 here the last 2 days.

I'm afraid to say it seems like it's going to be a windy Spring!

[cool]I got on the water at 2:30pm. It was prettywindy but I hadn't wet a line in three weeks and needed a fix. As far as day or night fishing, they both have merit. I pefer early morning or afternoon. I almost always get into some action.
