Permanent Meeting Venue

[cool][#0000ff]LeeC and myself visited with the folks at the Murray FOE (Eagles) lodge and have secured that location for our monthly meetings. The only change in previous scheduling is that we will have to change our meeting dates to the last WEDNESDAY of each month rather than the last [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Thursday. That is the night the Eagles have their regular meetings. A bit presumptous to try to get them to change it to suit us.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I am attaching a couple of maps to help you find the lodge if you have never been there. It is at 10 W. 4th Avenue...just west of State Street in Murray...at about 4900 So. You get there by turning west on Vine Street at the light on State Street. The first right will be Poplar St. Almost immediately turn left onto 4th avenue and look for the sign and the parking lot. [#0000ff]Our first meeting will be on Wednesday the 30th of May...at 6:30. It is a large hall with tables and chairs so it will be ideal for us to have our Tubers and Tooners Swap Meet.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]It might be a good idea for members to start posting...on this post...some of the things they plan to bring...or maybe something they are looking for so that others can bring it if they have it.[/#0000ff]

I'm planning on bring my H-3 and also a 28 lb thrust trolling motor as well as some misc. flys and jigs I made this winter. That is if anyone is interested. Should be a fun night

I don't really have anything to bring but, I would be interested in spinning gear, cranks, jigs, soft baits, ect.

[cool][#0000ff]I will probably be bringing a lot of surplus gear. Some jig heads, plastics, marabou jigs, cranks, etc. Might be something you can't live without.[/#0000ff]
