St. Vrain State Park to Host Fishing Clinics

FIRESTONE, CO. - St. Vrain State Park will host two fishing clinics on Saturday, May 26, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Staff and volunteers from Colorado Parks and Wildlife will teach the basics of fishing for ages 6-16. Fishing is a fun activity for the whole family, come learn about different species of fish, fishing safety, baiting, casting, and much more! All bait and tackle provided.

Participants should meet at the Camper Services Building near Mallard Pond. Reservations are required! Both clinics are free with admission to the park, $7 per day or $70 for an annual pass. Visitors are asked to please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, bring plenty of water and bug spray and be prepared to spend about an hour outside.
