Anglers fishing Cold Springs Reservoir landed rainbow trout that ranged from 12 – 14 inches. PowerBait and top-water lures were taking the fish. The average fish size taken from Cold Springs is expected to drop following the recent NDOW stocking. Anglers fishing Haymeadow Reservoir reported good success for rainbow trout that averaged 10 inches. PowerBait was the bait of choice. [/left]Daytime temperatures were in the low 70s while nights were in the upper 20s.
