[font "Times New Roman"][size 3]With two dads and four boys, we left the dock and twentyminutes later we had fishing lines in the water north of Fort Lauderdale FL. We had two plainers down, one with a 3 ½ bluereflector drone spoon, which is one of the most productive methods to catchfish, and one with a double hook Bonito strip with a black and purple sea witchin front, and 5 surface baits – two Ballyhoos, two Bonito strips and one japfeather. The enthusiasm was high as theyoung anglers sat in the fishing chairs, talking about their baseballteam. Eleven year old Zak Foster was ourfirst angler. The right long rigger camedown, which was attached to a Mahi Mahi jumping out of the water. As the rest of the anglers cheered him on,the left long rigger came down and 11 year old Carson Kerv was now at the endof another hooked Mahi Mahi. The volumeof their voices was so loud that they drowned out the sound of theengines. Both boys brought in their MahiMahi’s, and the on their faces said it all. From there, we added some Kingfish andBonito’s to the fish box.[/size][/font]
