New guy in Wisconsin

Hey all,

I am new here and looking for ideas how to customize my 12' Aluminum Sun Ray to be a better fishing platform. As my name indicates I fish mostly for Bluegill, Crappie, Bass and Walleye. Looks like a great forum and I am looking forward to reading and learning.

Thanks!

Welcome to the site John, one of our members(Paulpro) just made a video about how to customize a small boat like yours. I believe his boat is a flat bottom boat but I hope it will give you some ideas so you can do the same for your boat. Hopefully he will respond to your post, if not, I'll find the video and post it here. In case you have not found it already we have Freshwater fishing boards that can help you with catching Bluegill, Crappie, Bass and Walleye questions. Let me know if you need help finding those boards.

Hi,I'm Paul and have a project boat like yours.
I know the V-hull makes it uncomfortable to stand up front.
I'm yet to do something about it as I mostly use the jonboat..check out youtube for 12' alluminum boats with fishing decks.Heres one I found on a quick search..10'
haha yours should be more stable..[Wink]
