#1
PHOENIX, AZ—On October 18, the Arizona Game and Fish Commission adopted several fishing regulation changes for 2004. These include:

* Reducing the bag limit to four channel catfish at Lower Lake Mary, City Reservoir and Santa Fe Reservoir.
* Closing Soldier Creek to fishing and converting Coyote, Mamie, Home and Wildcat creeks to artificial fly and lure, single barbless hook, catch-and-release waters.
* Temporarily closing renovated/repatriated Snake, Fish, Double Cienega, Corduroy and Bear Wallow creeks to allow for Apache Trout re-establishment and recovery.
* Allowing unlimited use of sunfish and carp as bait in waters where they are taken in the Verde River from the Sullivan Dam downstream to the Salt River.
