Saludos From The Island Of Enchantment.
The last week of July was strange the bite was slow in the Eastern corner of the Puerto Rico trench. Mix bag for us, no BillFish and many people as usual requesting Beach days instead of fishing days (end of summer family days). But Work is work and costumers always get what they request. Of San Juan Osimar had a great day 7/28 Raised 3 blues /released one and landed a 180# yellow fin.
The Arecibo tournament went on this past weekend with rough seas generated by TS Ernesto passing south of us. 43 vessels and 7 fish released. The Turba caught a 172# yellow fin that may stand as the 50# local juvenile record.
Us are getting ready for the IBT #59 and The CYC tournaments.
till next Bite
