Hi I'm Mike Petersen with NorthIowaFishing. I am new to this site and giving you my first report onfly fishing musky in Clear Lake Iowa. Went over with the fly rod three times this past week for musky, ended up two musky landed, many more seen, a couple lost and a bonus 7 lb channel catfish. If you have never tried for musky of the fly it is something worth looking into. The ones this week were in the 30-36" range but there are many trophies in the mid 40"s some even appoaching the 50" mark in this Lake. I have been catcthing them while wading the rushes as the lake is very low and shallow this year.
