Hey there guys,
Went out on the 3/4 day open-party boat Premier out of Peirpoint landng in Long Beach.
The boat went to Catalina with lots of good fishing but not much catching. We had good sized sardines, good skipper, deck, and cook but just a few bass and one single lonely yellow showed up.
We fished mostly shallow waters and kelp beds just north of Bird Rock on the front side. Water was clear and wind stay down for most of the trip.
Didn't have a chance to use my Megabait lures this time but will bring them to bear next trip if the fishing spot allows.
