Galveston Fishing Report - October 2012
#1
Hey,

It's Captain Bobby Elliott. I believe this is my first post on here and its kind of generic and my writing sucks, but here goes:

This summer there has been plenty of fish to go around. Speck's have been biting on live croaker since early summer really well. Drift fishing with these croakers has been exceptionally good, especially over shell and with the wind at your back. However, as we headed into fall, the fishing slowed down a bit. Recently, the fishing appears to be picking up though. We had our first "real" cold front about 2 weeks ago and that was nice. So as we head deeper into fall I except a good season but not without its challenges.

I will continue to watch the weather and the tides and keep you updated.
