Surf Fishing
#1
Sorry, I already posted this on the main thread, but I wanted it here too.

Hey Guys!
I go to south Carolina a lot to go surf and pier fishing, but all I end up catching are whiting and pinfish and more whiting and more pinfish. I mean I really have no problem with whiting (kingcroaker) , they are excellent table fare, but they produce TINY fillets. I want to start catching the big ones, you know?! Black drum, red drum, big pompano, big sheepshead, but I really don't know what bait to use. Any suggestions!???
PS: Here's my surf fishing video on my youtube channel, check it out:

I live here in Charleston and love to surf/pier fish at the local beaches. To get to the reds you have to get in the grassy inlets. I have caught a few reds in shallow water from the Folly Beach Pier but i have the best luck in the inlets along the grassy areas. Good luck.
