Went out kayak fishing out of Morningside Park in Miami. Towards the end of the day I was just taking a break and a manatee bumped my kayak scaring the crap out of me.. When I looked down it was about the size of the yak. It was eating some grass and seaweed that I had on the bottom from being in the flats.. Pretty awesome to see.. I had the camera (my phone) in a ziplock in the dry hatch. By the time I got it out I could only get a few seconds of the manatee before it went under..
