Chiefs 9-0? Would anyone ever predict it? There doing it. And looking great. The word for this weekend was " turnovers". Did anyone catch that Rams and Ravens game?

Friggin turnover after turnover but still Rams managed to tie Seahawks for NFC WEST Title.[sly]

Raiders lost, again.[blush]

And the Chargers beat the Vikings? I have seen it all. Crazy year[crazy]

I wasn't shocked at all with those games.

The Falcons beating the crap out of NY was comical. The Chargers beating the Vikings was another crazy game. Indianapolis losing to J-ville was terrible. The Elite teams shouldn't be getting beat by crappy teams on any given Sunday. I don't think it is good for the NFL, and it's no picnic on my wallet.

The point spreads aren't even close on half of these games. I can see where the NFL wants parity, but all they're really delivering is mediocrity.

Vegas must be taking a beating. The only people betting are the degenerate gamblers that bet on everything fom WNBA to College Basket Ball's NIT Tourney.

Right now, there is only 3 dominant teams and they're all in the AFC. KC, Ten., and Indy. And Indy just got beat by J-ville. In the NFC it's wide open because any team can choke at any given moment. The Vikings sure don't look that great anymore. The only reason they have such good lead is because Green Bay let the Eagles squeeze by with a win. The Rams aren't all that scary. Tampa Bay isn't the same team. Philly is winning on luck. NY sucks. SF looks good every other week. It's still hard to imagine Carolina going all the way.

It's hard to beleive that the choke artist teams of Jacksonville and San Diego could have beaten some good teams. The are just barely under the underdogs of Houston, Chicago,Detroit, Arizona, Cleveland and the Jets. Even Buffalo is stuggling this year. But I guess thats how the cookie crumbles.

The Raiders placed last year's league MVP on injured reserve, ending his disappointing 2003 campaign.

The 37-year-old was injured during Oakland's 17-10 loss to Kansas City on October 20.

He is still unable to release a pass, so the 16-year NFL veteran has decided to have the surgery now and end his season.

One year after breaking the league's record for completed passes with 418 and leading the NFL in passing yards with 4,689, Gannon and the Raiders have fallen on hard times this season.

He was just 125-of-225 for 1,274 yards with six touchdowns and a completion percentage of 5.6 this season.

Gannon also threw four interceptions and was sacked 17 times for a 73.5 quarterback rating.

Oakland is 2-7 this season after advancing to the Super Bowl for the first time in 20 years last January.

Meanwhile, the New York Jets ([#0000ff]news[/#0000ff]) placed receiver Wayne Chrebet ([#0000ff]news[/#0000ff]) on injured reserve, effectively ending his season due to post-concussion syndrome.

Chrebet suffered a concussion November 2 against the New York Giants ([#0000ff]news[/#0000ff]) and did not play last week against the Oakland Raiders.

Although his syndrome is considered mild, the team feels the only way he will improve is with complete rest.

The Jets expect him to be fully recovered by next season.

Did you think I didn't already know that.

At this point I'm more disapointed that Tuiasosopo isn't coming back. This season is a wash. I just want to see the future players now.

Gannon not coming back sucks, but the way they have played and where they are now, makes it not such a big deal anymore.

I would hope you would know[Tongue] The Raiders need Gannon. He is a good quarterback. With the other follies this year this was the cherry on the cake![pirate]

Raiders are done this year, along with Denver. This is one weird year. I have actually quit betting on NFL this year. I have won like 5 out of 10 bets.[unsure]

I got one really good one though. San Diego game, got odds in my favor and won like $500!! Yipee[sly]

But with the other losses like the Colts I am up like $100 bucks[unsure]
